Very good customer service and oh, GOOD FOOD We arrived 30 minutes before closing and they treated us like royalty.

Although there was a bit of a wait for another party to join the Hibachi table/grill, the food was very delicious! Our waitress was sweet and very attentive! There was a nice dimly lit atmosphere to the place. To top it off, one of the owners gave us a warm towel to clean our daughter's hands after eating which was a very nice gesture. We would definitely try this place again!

Never miss on the food when dining in or ordering takeout! Best Japanese cuisine in town!

Pretty good! We walked right in and the two ladies at the front told us to sit wherever in the booth section. [We weren't eating hibachi] However, it took almost 10 minutes for one of them to come over and ask about our drinks. I found that a little off putting. I got the Chuck Norris roll - it came out on fire and was VERY good! I also got a side of noodles and they were perfect too. My son got the salmon roll - he said it was just okay. I think the seaweed wraps just had a lot stronger taste than most of the other places we frequent. Our waitress changed hands after the drink order, which I was thankful for because the original lady that had us wait ten minutes seemed as if she couldn't be bothered with us. All in all it was a good dinner! I didn't look around d too much, but the interior did seem rather small. Not a large parking lot at the restaurant, but I saw signs for additional parking behind the MapCo next door.

We loved Yamato when we lived in Clarksville! The steak and sushi are both amazing-highly recommend!

Yum! Yum! Good food and service! It was a Wednesday night I decided that mama wasn't cooking me being the mama lol. I took my family out. It was around 5 o'clock. No crowd or wait. Good music playing.

Surprisingly great for your typical hibachi, but better. The chicken and steak were cooked amazingly. The perfect temperature and exactly as I requested. The chefs are fun and while they don't entertain as much as others, I'm here for the food. The salad was decent, but the soup and meal was the real winner. Large portions and not too loud that you can't hear your party at the table. Just don't be like me and forget to grab your leftovers.

From the outside the place looks a little sketch but once inside it's a full service restaurant. The food is always fresh and never disappoints. It's a small hibachi restaurant with non hibachi tables. The service is always fast and friendly. This was the first hibachi restaurant we visited when we moved to the area and been back many times. We have tried quite a bit of the sushi rolls. The chuck norris needs a little work. We have tried this at another local sushi restaurant and it wasn't close to the taste. Other than that all the food is great. It would be nice to see the owners spruce up the place to make it look a little more inviting but who knows. The word is they have been there for 20+ years so I don't think they have any desire to upgrade.
